The TRH Group will help you manage your organization’s environmental programs in a comprehensive, systematic, planned and documented manner. It includes the organizational structure, planning and resources for developing, implementing and maintaining policy for environmental protection.
Environmental Planning and Management
Environmental planning and management begins with the development of an Environmental Policy Statement. This statement provides the framework for the development of a system that will identify, assess and control environmental aspects. Environmental Policy Statement is implemented through the development of Environmental plans and programs. The TRH Group has extensive experience in developing and implementing environmental policy statements, as well as related programs.
Environmental Compliance Audits
Establishing a process for identifying environmental risks is essential to ensuring the viability of business operations. One component of this process is environmental auditing. Environmental auditing is a systematic approach to identifying and assessing environmental issues related to business operations. Together, your TRH environmental auditor set priorities and develops an action plan to prioritize activities, which present risk or identify systems requiring improvement.
Monitoring, Measuring, Sampling and Analysis
Assessing the effectiveness of environmental strategies that have been implemented, it is important to measure performance. As the proverbial phrase states, “you can’t manage what you can’t measure”. Without assessing performance, it becomes difficult to ascertain whether the company is in compliance with regulations and/or is achieving environmental goals or objectives. Measuring of performance can involve sampling, inspections, and auditing which conform to established standards.
Environmental Inspection
Environmental Site Inspections consist of a process whereby a TRH Health, Safety and Environmental consultant, conducts both a document review and physical inspection of the workplace. Documents related to the management of environmental impacts associated with business operations are reviewed for availability and accuracy. The physical inspection of the workplace consists of a walk about of the workplace to identify potential and actual environmental aspects.
Environmental Reporting
A uniform method of reporting is necessary to allow for compliance with government and stakeholder expectations.
